Helen Amy Murray

Helen Amy Murray is a globally recognised artist and designer.

The delicate artistry of Helen’s work has gained her many accolades for its beauty and originality. Experimenting extensively with texture, colour, depth and light, she takes a thoughtful and considered approach to her creative process, working methodically to create complex and exquisitely detailed hand-sculpted works of art for leading interior architects, art consultants and private collectors around the world.

Helen has spent several years developing and refining the structural aesthetic of her craft. Her sensibility and discerning eye results in works that are poetic, understated and one of a kind. Flora and fauna are a regular source of inspiration, in particular the geometry, pattern and repetition found within nature.

Together with private commissions from some of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands, Helen has created original artworks that have been shown at The Royal Academy of Arts, Victoria & Albert Museum and Somerset House in London.

The Studio

Founded in 2002, the Helen Amy Murray studio is situated in the heart of East London. Here Helen and her team of highly-skilled, comprehensively trained artisans use innovative and authentic techniques pioneered and perfected by Helen to bring her original hand-drawn illustrations to life. Each intricate artwork is meticulously hand-crafted using luxurious materials including leathers, suedes and silks.

The works take a variety of forms, from collectable framed artworks to interior installations and furniture upholstery for private clients, residences, superyachts, aviation, hotels, restaurants and boutiques. Clients include Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Christian Dior, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Longchamp, The Peninsula Hotels and Mandarin Oriental. Helen Amy Murray has also created an eponymous collection for The Rug Company.
